What happens after you make your offer?
Once you make an offer, your funds (the amount that you offered) will be temporarily placed on hold. If you want to cancel your offer, you’ll have to wait six hours before doing so. The seller will have seven days to accept or decline your offer.
If they accept your offer within the given time window, then you will be charged for the offer amount (and, in the case of a credit card offer, the transaction fee). If they decline your offer, then your funds will be released from hold. Finally, if no action has been taken by either party for seven days, then the offer will automatically be canceled, and your funds will be released from hold.
